In the early 1990s, recognizing the need for vibrant hues in the food sector, we diversified, establishing a color division that extended our reach beyond fragrances. This expansion not only
catered to the realm of sweetened flavors, but also ventured into the realms of home and personal care sectors.
As we stepped into the new millennium, our success in flavor penetration within the juice sector propelled us to establish a robust trading operation with juice manufacturers worldwide. This strategic move enabled us to carve a niche in the Middle East and Africa regions, furthering our commitment to delivering quality ingredients and solutions.
Building upon our strengths, we innovated further, compounding our own flavor ingredients with multifunctional elements and juices. This endeavor marked the genesis of our pioneering Integrated Ingredient System offering in the Middle East and Africa, setting new standards in the industry.
In 2008, we inaugurated a state-of-the-art fruit processing and juice compounding plant, solidifying our presence in the beverage sector. Our commitment to innovation and excellence caught the attention of Doehler Group, leading to their acquisition of 50% of our Juice and Flavor business in 2013. This venture was rebranded as Doehler Egypt S.A.E.
With our team’s unwavering dedication, Doehler Egypt rapidly evolved into the largest and most sophisticated beverage ingredients and R&D hub in the Middle East and Africa, boasting a remarkable growth trajectory with a sustained CAGR exceeding 45% over six years.
In 2020, seizing an opportunity for strategic focus, we divested our remaining 50% stake in Doehler Egypt, positioning ourselves to script a new chapter of success.
As we stride into 2021, armed with invaluable experience, resources, and an unwavering commitment, we aim to replicate our triumphs in the Home Care and Personal Care sectors across the Middle East and Africa.
